FINISH · METALLIC
Metallic epoxy is the floor people stop to photograph: deep, glossy and full of movement. It is also the finish where the installer's hands show the most, which is why we lead with real floors.
Metallic floors use fine metallic pigments mixed into an epoxy coat. While the coat is still wet, the installer works it with rollers, trowels, sprayers and solvents to create movement, veining and depth. As the light and your viewing angle change, the pigment shifts, which is the colour travel you see in our photos.
Because the pattern is made by hand in a short working window, every floor is one of a kind. Our Pour Lab preview lets you explore colour combinations, but it is a procedural sketch, not a promise of an exact pattern.
Our metallic work spans barbershops, auto detailing studios, service bays, a restaurant dining room and residential garages. It suits spaces where the floor is part of the look: showrooms, retail, salons, rec rooms, bars and show garages.
A high-gloss metallic floor shows dust and scratches more than a textured flake floor, and it can be slippery when wet unless texture is added to the topcoat. For wet zones, ask about texture options. For garages that see a lot of grit, compare it against a flake system in our finish guide.
No two metallic pours are identical. A photo is a great guide for colours and style, and we'll be clear about what can and can't be matched.
Yes. Try combinations in the Pour Lab, then send us the mix with your quote request.
