FLOORS FOR · DETAIL SHOPS
Detail shops and service bays deal with standing water, cleaners and degreasers, rolling tyres and the occasional dropped tool, and the floor is part of the showroom when customers pick up.
How a coating stands up to a specific cleaner or solvent depends on the exact product, and good manufacturers publish chemical resistance charts for their systems. Before we quote a shop, we want to know which products you use on the floor so the system we propose is matched to them.
A detail shop floor is part of the reveal. Our shop work includes a red, green and blue metallic floor at a Toronto detailing studio and a gold, black and silver floor in a service bay with vehicle lifts. Browse the photos below, then use the Pour Lab to try your own colours.
Slip resistance depends on the topcoat and any anti-slip additive, and wet areas need it considered on purpose. Tell us which areas get wet and we'll discuss texture options for those zones.
Lifts, drains and bay layouts are part of the site assessment. Photos of the bays and lift bases help us quote accurately.
